House of Greens: A Sustainable 4BHK Home in Bangalore Rooted in Nature

House of Greens: A Sustainable 4BHK Home in Bangalore Rooted in Nature

Nestled in the serene neighborhood of Junnasandra, Bangalore, House of Greens is a 4BHK sustainable residence that beautifully bridges the gap between modern living and nature. Spanning 7,000 square feet, this eco-conscious home is a perfect blend of architectural innovation, sustainability, and biophilic design.

Designed by 4site Architects and led by Ar. Chandrakant S Kanthigavi, the project reflects a deep commitment to environmental responsibility and the client’s love for greenery, calm living, and their four-legged companions. Completed in 2023, this nature-inspired home is more than just a living space—it’s a sanctuary.

A Nature-First Design Approach

From the moment you step inside, House of Greens invites you into a world of tranquility. Surrounded by mature trees and lush landscapes, the home uses natural materials like laterite stone, granite, and locally sourced wood to create a seamless visual and physical connection with the outdoors. Thoughtfully integrated indoor plants, garden terraces, and a rooftop garden elevate the experience, offering calming green views from every corner of the house.

Large windows and open layouts maximize natural light and cross-ventilation, significantly reducing the need for artificial lighting and mechanical cooling systems. This smart use of passive design principles helps keep the energy footprint low while maintaining thermal comfort year-round.

Built with Sustainability in Mind

Every aspect of the home—from material selection to systems integration—was planned with sustainability at the core. The structure uses energy-efficient systems, eco-friendly construction materials, and features water-saving fixtures, all carefully chosen to minimize environmental impact.

Key materials and products used in the project include:

  • Saint-Gobain glass for energy-efficient glazing
  • AGL Quartz surfaces for durability and aesthetics
  • Aluplast uPVC windows for thermal insulation
  • Asian Paints for sustainable interior finishes
  • Astra CPVC Pipes, Geberit sanitary systems, Everest Ply, and many more premium-grade components from over 18 top manufacturers.
